So, this is a fic I wrote during a history fanwork exchange. I got very lucky because my request was essentially what I really wanted to write. As a fill, it actually doesn’t portray my exact headcanons, but nonetheless, it’s a fair representation.
I’m also not really sure if this counts as canonverse…my goal was to reflect a RL historical canon as opposed to Himaruya’s canon. I have mentioned in the notes that I did want to make an actual multi-chapter of ridiculous lengths that would begin before 1842 and continue after 1997. And I still do - it’s just currently in Development Hell. But hey, now this group is here…I could be prodded to work on it more. =3=
Anyhoo, please enjoy. It’s a long-ass thing with like 30 footnotes at the end to showcase my nerdtastically academic tendencies. Please keep in mind that it’s about a year old. Discussion and suggestions are more than welcome.
